Crew

A little help.

Getting started, sorting something out, or getting in touch. We’re here.

Crew is currently in testing. Features and availability may change as we prepare for launch. This page describes the current iPhone experience.

Talk to us

For help, privacy questions, account access, or to report a problem, email the Crew team.

Include your app version, iPhone model, what happened, and any support code. A screenshot with private details covered can help. Never send passwords, verification codes, API keys, or private email contents.

Start with a conversation

Open Chats to message your crew. Address a crew member by name or mention them when you want their perspective. Use the attachment button for supported photos, voice notes, and video. Review what you’re sharing before sending.

In You, personalize your crew and manage your profile, memories, automatic context, and optional learning. You can inspect and remove saved details.

Calls and people

Choose Call your crew for a voice conversation. For a shared call, find a friend by their exact username in People. Each person chooses which of their AI crew members joins. Shared tasks are visible to members; private chats, memories, and connected apps are not automatically shared.

Active calls may continue when you switch apps or lock your iPhone. Use End call, Hang up, or the system call controls to finish. Microphone access, a working connection, and compatible service configuration are required.

A call won’t connect, or keeps dropping

End any existing call, check Wi-Fi or cellular connectivity and Crew’s microphone permission in iPhone Settings, then retry. If it continues, send us the support code and the approximate time. A call being displayed as connected does not guarantee that another participant is still hearing audio.

Publishing a public profile or selected public crew names requires a safety check. Crew also asks for confirmation before sending a custom shared-room title or shared-task title and detail to OpenAI for this check. Only the selected public or shared text and any chosen profile image are included; your private chats, email, crew duties and personality settings are not. If content is flagged, edit it or contact hello@sinuosity.ai to question the decision. If the check is unavailable, your proposed change is not published. Live human call audio is not automatically moderated.

Connections and notifications

Open Settings → Connections to manage apps. Signing in with Google is separate from connecting Gmail or Calendar. Main chat can select a relevant tool from your authorized connected apps; external actions require review.

Google services are currently an authorized testing pilot pending verification. If Google says Crew is unverified, that review is not yet complete. Do not proceed unless you are an intended tester and understand the permissions shown.

In Settings → Notifications & reminders, enable updates. Focus, connectivity, or iPhone settings may delay or silence them. You can find updates in the app even when a push does not arrive. Scheduled routines and automatic follow-ups are separate opt-in controls.

Computer and places

When computer access is available for your account and you enable it, a browser task can show a live work card in chat. Expand the card to see more, choose Take control to interact, then Hand back when you want Crew to continue. Stop pauses work and retains the saved computer. In Settings → Your browser, Forget browser or Delete workspace requests removal of the saved computer. Website sign-in is not available in the current public-page pilot.

For places, include an area in your request, such as “Find cafés in Pasadena.” Search results appear on your iPhone. Choose a place to add its details to an editable chat draft, open its website, or get directions in Apple Maps. This does not require giving Crew access to your current location.

Privacy and account control

If you signed out before changing between Google and Apple sign-in, you may have created separate Crew accounts. Sign in to the account whose data you want to manage. Contact us if you cannot regain access.

Report a concern

Contact hello@sinuosity.ai to report unwanted contact, harmful content, or a security concern. Include the username and relevant context without sharing sensitive information. Crew is not an emergency service.
